Logistics / Transportation IndustryLincoln Search Consultants (LSC) is partnering with a growing transportation/logistics organization seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative to join its downtown Chicago team.This is a high-volume AR and collections role supporting a fast-paced operation with strong leadership already in place. The team is looking for someone who can confidently manage collections activity, build relationships internally and externally, and proactively drive resolution on outstanding accounts.Responsibilities:Manage a high-volume portfolio of customer accountsPerform outbound collection calls and written follow-ups on past due balancesMonitor aging reports and prioritize delinquent accounts based on riskDocument all collection activity within internal systemsNegotiate payment plans and assist with account resolutionReconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepanciesPartner with billing, customer service, and sales teams to resolve disputesEscalate high-risk or complex accounts when necessaryProcess payments and issue invoices/statements/remindersAssist with month-end AR close activitiesQualifications:3-5 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experienceExperience working in a high-volume environmentStrong understanding of AR processes, aging, and collections workflowsProven ability to meet collection targets and performance expectationsStrong communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independentlyExperience with ERP systems such as Sage 300 or GetPaid is a plusLogistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain industry experience highly preferredThis opportunity offers exposure to a dynamic organization with continued growth, a collaborative environment, and strong long-term potential.
