Assistant Project Manager - Industrial and Manufacturing ConstructionAssistant Project Manager opportunity supporting large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help drive successful project execution across all phases of construction.Projects consist of large-scale ground up industrial and manufacturing construction projects typically exceeding $50M in value with a well-established general contractor offering a strong backlog and long-term growth potential.ResponsibilitiesSupport projects from preconstruction through closeoutAssist with project schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and project documentationManage RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, change orders, and closeout materialsHelp track budgets, forecasting, billing, and overall project financialsCoordinate with Superintendents, field teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout constructionParticipate in owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal project coordination effortsSupport project safety, quality control, and schedule adherenceAssist with buyout, permitting, and contract administration processesHelp resolve field and operational issues to maintain project progress and client satisfactionMaintain accurate and organized project records and documentationQualifications1-4+ years of experience with a general contractorExperience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects preferredStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environmentProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar softwareDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryVehicle allowance or company vehicle + gas cardBonus opportunity401(k)Full benefits packagePTO and continued career growth opportunities
