New Albany, OH (Local/Onsite)W2 contract role12 Months with potential to convertJob Description The role involves establishing a moderate understanding of the technologies and processes necessary for the development and support of Operational Technology (OT) Real Time tools and systems. Key responsibilities include providing application support for Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, as well as other applications utilized in Transmission Control Centers.Job Duties:Exhibit advanced understanding of the AVEVA PI (Plant Information) system, components, and processesAbility to understand interrelationships between systems and componentsDemonstrate critical thinking, urgency, and attention to detail to support real time operationsAble to provide on rotation, after hours (24 x 7) on-call supportNice-To-Have:Preferred intermediate to advanced experience supporting AVEVA PI, Operational Technology Systems, and their componentsAVEVA PI experience, especially with PI Interfaces, PI Connectors, PI Integrators and PI Asset Framework/ PI VisionOperational Technology experiencePower Plant Control Systems such as OvationSCADA System related experienceUnderstanding of Communications Protocols OPC, Modbus, DNP, OvationPI Installation & AdministrationAdvanced Analytics using AVEVA PIC# .Net Development ExperienceEducationBachelor s degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Associate s degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience; OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience
