About Embassy of BeautyEmbassy of Beauty is a luxury beauty destination founded in London in 2018, dedicated to discovering the world's most niche and exceptional brands. We curate against three principles: authenticity, efficacy, and transparency. Every product is tested by our team before it reaches a customer.We operate a flagship retail and treatment destination on Kensington Church Street alongside an established direct-to-consumer ecommerce business. We are now building Embassy of Beauty in the US from our Boca Raton office.The RoleWe are hiring a Head of Ecommerce to lead Embassy of Beauty across the US and the UK. This is a senior commercial role with two distinct mandates.You will take over our established UK ecommerce and marketing function from day one. The London team reports to you: E-commerce Manager, Graphic Designer, and Written Content Manager. Your job is to lead the team, sharpen execution, and maintain the performance of the UK business.At the same time, you will build Embassy of Beauty in the US market. The US business is a start-up. We are currently recruiting a Marketing Manager and an Operations Manager who will form the foundation of your US team. You will use the UK team as a resource for design, content, and ecommerce execution during the build phase, and hire out the US team in stages as the business proves itself.You will report directly to the co-founder and own the group ecommerce P&L across both markets.What You Will DoLead and develop the UK ecommerce, content, and creative teamBuild and scale the Embassy of Beauty US business from Boca RatonOwn the group ecommerce P&L, budget, and KPIs across both marketsLead paid acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channelsDevelop and execute SEO, content, affiliate, and influencer acquisition strategyOwn site experience, conversion rate optimisation, and trading calendarMake trading decisions on pricing, bundling, and category focusHire and build the US team in stages as the business proves itselfWho You AreEssential:Seven plus years in ecommerce, digital marketing, or growth, with at least three in a senior leadership roleDemonstrable track record of scaling a direct-to-consumer ecommerce business, ideally in beauty, wellness, fashion, or premium lifestyleDeep technical expertise across Meta and Google Ads, with hands-on experience of TikTok, paid social, paid search, and programmaticProven people manager with experience leading ecommerce, content, and creative teamsStrong commercial and analytical mindset, comfortable owning a P&LExperience building a team or function from scratch, ideally in a start-up or early-stage environmentComfortable managing a remote team across time zonesExcellent written and verbal communicationDesirable:Experience in luxury, premium, or niche beautyFamiliarity with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, GA4, and modern attribution toolingExperience working across US and UK markets or within an international groupRetention, CRM, or lifecycle marketing expertiseWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary, benchmarked to experienceAnnual performance bonus tied to clearly defined commercial KPIsStandard US benefits including health, dental, and vision coverPaid time off and US public holidaysThe opportunity to build a transatlantic luxury beauty business in a founder-led environment
