SNI Technology's client located in Colorado Springs, CO is actively seeking to hire a talented Mid-Level Electrical/I&C/Integrity Engineer (Electrical/I&C/Integrity) for an exciting 4-5-month, contract-to-hire opportunity! Please note this position is intended to work primarily onsite (4-5days/week) and will require travel 20% of the time. For immediate consideration please email me your resume to leah.lacayo@The Electrical/I&C/Integrity Engineer is the primary technical point of contact for all project deliverables. The Engineer's responsibilities include developing project objectives, writing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing and selecting equipment, and supporting the creation of drawings. They will interact with all team members to perform work correctly and promptly along with promoting professional development. They will also actively manage their time to maintain efficient, effective, and accurate production within their projects. Also, the Engineer will have strong communication skills and be able to accomplish the results of the project at hand.Core Competencies: Communicate effectively and proactively.Take an active role in growing skills, abilities, and knowledge to further understand all aspects of the position.Perform well in both individual and team environments.Take on additional responsibilities and assignments willingly.Accomplish tasks often on fixed and tight deadlines for multiple and often simultaneous projects.Excel in a fast-paced working environment with aggressive deadlines.Able to identify needs, develop solutions, and articulate ideas.Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills.Exhibit self-starter mentality and effectively manage time.Familiar with Oil & Gas industry practices and standards.Conduct oneself with a professional demeanor.Demonstrate commitment to safety.Knowledge and Skills Requirements:Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience - 5 years is preferred level of experienceABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineeringEIT certificate a plusMust have expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), or Integrity disciplines.Competent in arc flash, short circuit and relay setting studies using SKM or ETAP softwareExperience in generating the following deliverables:Load listOne-line diagramsPower cable/conduit schedulesConduit/cable tray plans and detailsGrounding plans and detailsArea classification plans and detailsLighting plans and detailsPanel schedulesHeat trace plan and detailsCathodic protection plan and detailsE-House layoutE-house /PDC specificationsMotor control schematicsElectrical equipment specifications and data sheets (MCC, UPS, transformers, etc.)Lightning protection plans and detailsElectrical rack drawings Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and API 500 and how they apply to the oil and gas industryWork Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional nights and weekends.Overtime is occasionally required and expected, often on short notice.Work Location 50% to 80% in office20% up to 50% travel as neededCompensation RangeThe compensation for this position is in the range of $38 to $55 per hour during the 4-5-month contract duration of the assignment with a starting annual salary range of $80K to $110K upon converting to permanent.
