We are hiring for a great client in El Segundo seeking a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong Accounts Payable experience who enjoys supporting essential finance operations in a professional and team-oriented environment.Hours: 20-25 hours per week Key Responsibilities:Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, data entry, matching, and payment processing Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with vendor inquiries Reconcile accounts, statements, and financial records as needed Support expense tracking, documentation, and filing of financial records Assist with payroll-related tasks and special projects as assigned Provide support during an ongoing ERP/HRM system implementation, including learning new processes and helping with finance-related transitions Work closely with finance staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily tasks Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information Qualifications:Recent experience in Accounts Payable is required Bachelor's degree in related field is highly preferredAdditional exposure to payroll is highly preferred, but training can be provided Experience working in accounting, finance, or administrative support roles Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Professional communication skills and a collaborative attitude
