A growing manufacturing operation in Columbus, MS is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead day-to-day plant activities while driving safety, quality, and production performance.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor, leads by example, and knows how to balance people, process, and performance.What You'll DoLead and oversee daily production operations to meet quality, safety, and output goalsReview production schedules, dispatch work orders, and ensure accurate costingAnalyze production delays and resolve issues related to maintenance, quality, or staffingConduct employee safety and quality training and maintain accurate training recordsEnforce employee conduct standards and manage performance, evaluations, and disciplinePromote strong housekeeping, organization, and safety cultureCollaborate with other shift supervisors and plant leadershipOperate production equipment as needed and provide floor-level leadershipWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience leading manufacturing teamsProven experience supervising production employeesAbility to operate manufacturing equipment (Presses)Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, production scheduling systems)OSHA safety training experienceISO 9000 knowledge or experience preferredStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsSteel or Aluminum experience a plus not required
