Location: Fullerton, CA (On-site)Position SummaryThe Coffee Program Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for building and owning our coffee platform across three pillars:Green Coffee Sourcing & RoastingCoffee Quality Control (QC) & Cross-Functional CommunicationBulk Extract Internal Sales & Program CoordinationThis is a builder role focused on creating systems"”not just executing tasks"”ensuring that coffee is optimized from green input through final extracted productCore ResponsibilitiesGreen Coffee Sourcing & Roasting (Primary Focus)Own green coffee sourcing strategy:Supplier relationships and origin selectionCost optimization and quality targetingForecasting and inventory planningLead roast development specifically for extraction performanceOptimize for solubility, yield, and flavor consistencyEstablish and maintain roast profiles across products and SKUsImprove roast repeatability and batch consistencyBuild systems for:Green evaluation and intakeRoast logging and performance trackingPartner with extraction team to:Align roast profiles with production metrics (TDS, yield, etc.)Identify and resolve upstream performance issuesCoffee Quality Control (QC) & CommunicationOwn quality of extracted coffee across:Lab testingProduction floorFinished productDefine and enforce:Sensory standardsAnalytical targets and consistency metricsApprove/reject product based on quality standardsLead root-cause analysis across:Green coffeeRoastingExtractionServe as the communication hub between:ProductionSalesManagementClientsDrive rapid problem-solving when quality deviatesBulk Extract Internal Sales & Program ManagementInitiate, manage, and coordinate bulk extract ordersConduct outbound outreach to develop new accounts(Commission eligible for accounts gained through outreach)Translate customer needs into:Clear specsProduction-ready requirementsCoordinate execution across:ProductionQualityOperationsOwn:Order intakeInternal alignmentCustomer communicationDelivery coordinationSupport pricing discussions and program structuringQualificationsRequired5-10+ years in:Coffee roastingGreen coffee sourcingStrong understanding of:Extraction performance (TDS, yield, solubility)Proven ability to troubleshoot process + quality issuesStrong communication skills across technical and commercial teamsPreferredExperience in concentrates or bulk extract programsCo-packing or manufacturing experienceSensory expertiseCompensationCompetitive base salaryCommission on bulk extract accounts acquired through outreachWhy This RoleYou will build a system where:Inputs are engineered correctly (green + roast)Quality is owned, not inspectedCoffee becomes a scalable, high-performance platform
