Role OverviewAs part of the Services Department, this role will provide aftersales mechanical and electrical support to existing customers across the United States, with approximately 50% travel requiredWhen based on-site in Warminster, the technician will also support the Fabrication and Assembly Workshop, assisting with mechanical build and assembly activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer On-Site SupportCarry out installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of isolators at customer sites across the USAPerform on-site fault finding where possible and provide clear, detailed reports to the Services DepartmentConduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operationComplete all site visit documentation, including work performed and parts usedEnsure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirementsProvide technical support and guidance to customers as requiredWorkshop Fabrication & AssemblyWork as part of a mechanical team assembling and fabricating equipment for the pharmaceutical industryAssemble machinery using materials such as stainless steel, plastics, and glassInterpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specificationsCarry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and functional testing of assembliesSafely prepare, handle, and manage materials while maintaining a clean and organized workshop environmentKey RequirementsExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbalStrong mechanical and electrical knowledge (relevant qualifications desirable)High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independently when requiredStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approachCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality serviceFull, clean driving licenseWillingness to travel within the USA, typically for 3-4 weekdays at a time
