Medical Assistant

A new primary care clinic in Miramar is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team as they prepare for an exciting new clinic launch. This is a great opportunity to work closely with providers and contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care from day one.The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting both the clinical and administrative functions of the clinic, ensuring patients are fully prepared for their visit and that providers have the information they need to deliver excellent care.Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, etc.)Accurately document patient information in the EMR system (e.g., eClinicalWorks)Assist providers during examinations and proceduresAdminister injections, vaccines, and perform basic lab tests (CLIA-waived)Prepare and sanitize exam roomsManage patient flow to support efficient and timely careHandle prescription refills and prior authorizationsPerform phlebotomy and specimen collection (if applicable)Maintain inventory of medical suppliesWhat We're Looking ForCertified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferredMinimum 1 year of clinical experience (primary care experience preferred)Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)Strong communication and organisational skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a team environmentBilingual in English and Spanish requiredHigh School Diploma (or equivalent)Why Apply?Join a brand-new clinic at launch stageWork in a collaborative, patient-focused environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing healthcare setting
