Rose has been globally recognized and awarded for its work at the intersection of the cannabis and culinary worlds.Role DescriptionThe Vice President of Operations and Business Planning is responsible for operations, business management and planning. This role requires deep operational knowledge across the company's entire vertical, and ability to direct cross-functional teams.The VP, Operations & Business Planning is a key leader who will work closely with our CEO, implementing and supporting a clear strategic vision for our businesses and will be effective in communicating, motivating and inspiring our team in executing that vision through hands-on leadership, optimism, strategic risk-taking and focused metrics of success.This position will be reporting to the CEO. This position will also collaborate with Sales, Planning, Production, Farm, Creative, Marketing, Distribution, Legal, Finance and Administrative Operations teams across the entire Rose company.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading the execution of long and short-range planning. This is inclusive of financial review, and presentation of company forecasts, annual operating plans, and capital.Act as a business advisor and key business partner for management teams and support them in their decision-making processesDevelop and manage a professional staff, motivate and direct teams in their goals and objectivesCreate, maintain and report on key business metrics to ensure business objectives are metDevelop knowledge and fluency in the business performance and financial drivers to advise on key business planning assumptions and opportunitiesResponsible for review of local contracts Initiate business planning around ongoing growth and expansionPartner closely with HR to ensure team wellbeing and evolution of cultureOversee all weekly accounting activities, sales tax and annual filingsQualifications7+ years of relevant work experienceCPG Industry business planning experience a plusAdvanced financial modeling and analytical skillsProven ability to manage and develop teamsDemonstrated ability to persuasively present complex business issues and solutions, clearly and conciselyStrong leadership and team management skillsA passion for impacting the culinary, cannabis, agriculture and CPG industry in positive wayExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
