Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Securities Litigation Associate to join a market leading plaintiff side litigation practice in New York or Los Angeles. This role offers exposure to some of the most significant securities fraud matters globally, acting on behalf of institutional investors to drive accountability, strengthen corporate governance, and achieve precedent setting market reforms. The position is well suited to a highly motivated, intellectually curious lawyer with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for investor advocacy.Responsibilities:Litigate complex securities fraud and shareholder class action matters on behalf of institutional investorsDevelop and execute litigation strategy in high profile, large scale securities casesConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court submissionsAnalyse financial statements, market disclosures, and trading data to assess potential claimsWork closely with clients, experts, and co counsel throughout all stages of litigationTake on meaningful responsibility across multiple complex matters, often opposing senior defence counselContribute creatively to identifying new cases and advancing innovative legal theoriesQualifications:J.D. required (2020-2024 law school graduates preferred)Admission to the New York and/or California BarPrior experience in securities litigation, class actions, or other complex litigationStrong academic credentials; judicial clerkship experience is a plusExcellent legal research and writing skillsStrong financial literacy and ability to engage with complex financial conceptsEntrepreneurial, proactive mindset with the ability to take initiativeDemonstrated interest in representing investors rather than corporate defendantsStrong time management, communication, and multitasking skillsBenefits:Competitive salary range of $185,000-$320,000, depending on experience and qualificationsHybrid working model (3 days in office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 2 days remote)Exposure to high profile, precedent setting litigation with global impactSubstantial responsibility and hands-on experience early in career progressionCollaborative and intellectually driven working environmentCommitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunityIf you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click 'apply now' to forward an up to date copy of your resume.
