Jr. Project ManagerBaltimore, MDHybrid Remote12-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate - $32.00 - $37.00/hr (Depending on Experience - 40hr/week) We are seeking a Jr. Project Manager to support financial project tracking and execution across critical telecommunications infrastructure initiatives. This role will focus heavily on financial oversight, reporting, and coordination for projects supporting wireless, transport, and communication systems. This team supports essential infrastructure including telecom towers, wireless networks, RF communications, and Voice over IP systems, ensuring reliable communication across the organization's operations. This Jr. Project Manager will play a key role in supporting processes tied to these projects, including accruals, forecasting, invoicing, and variance reporting.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, driven, and eager to learn, with strong Excel skills and an interest in project financials. If you enjoy working with data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting large-scale infrastructure projects, we encourage you to apply!Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or a related field1-3 years of experience in project coordination, financial analysis, or related roleStrong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, data analysisBasic understanding of financial processes such as forecasting, accruals, and invoicingStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsSelf-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in a project environmentBonus Requirements:Exposure to project management tools such as Microsoft ProjectExperience with Power BI or other reporting/visualization toolsFamiliarity with telecommunications concepts (wireless, RF, VoIP, data communications)Understanding of infrastructure or utility-related projectsExposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or variance analysisYour Responsibilities Include:Support tracking and reporting across multiple projects, including accruals, forecasts, and invoicing verificationMaintain and update Excel-based financial models and reports (pivot tables, lookups, variance tracking)Assist in analyzing project financial performance and identifying variances or discrepanciesPartner with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and reportingSupport scheduling and project tracking activities using tools such as Microsoft ProjectHelp coordinate project activities across teams including security, transport, wireless, and technology groupsAssist in preparing financial summaries, dashboards, and reports for leadershipTrack project costs related to telecom infrastructure such as towers, wireless equipment, and communication systemsSupport continuous improvement of financial tracking and reporting processesCollaborate with mentors and senior team members to build project management and financial skillsetsGain exposure to large-scale utility communication projects and enterprise project environmentsWhat's in it for you?A welcoming, team environment where you will be provided an opportunity to work with a Fortune 100 company.
