It's a strong opportunity to build deep technical expertise while gaining exposure to large-scale public sector projects.The RoleYou'll support the planning, modeling, and analysis of wastewater collection systems, working closely with municipal stakeholders and engineering teams.This role blends hydraulic modeling, GIS, and data analysis, giving you hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and real infrastructure challenges.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and run hydraulic models for wastewater collection systems (gravity sewers & force mains)Analyze system performance to identify capacity issues, overflows, and optimization opportunitiesWork with large datasets from municipal systems to support planning and upgrade decisionsUse GIS tools to map, visualize, and interpret infrastructure dataSupport permitting and coordination for sewer and pipeline projects within public ROWCollaborate with engineers, planners, and municipal teams to deliver actionable insightsPrepare technical reports, summaries, and recommendationsWhat They're Looking For3-10 years of experience in wastewater modeling, infrastructure planning, or related fieldsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)Experience working on municipal wastewater or sewer system projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex dataTechnical SkillsExperience with modeling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, InfoSewer, SewerCAD, or similarProficiency with GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS)Comfortable working with data, software tools, and computer-based analysisUnderstanding of wastewater system design, hydraulics, and infrastructure planningWhy This Role Stands OutYou'll gain hands-on experience with real municipal systems, working on projects that directly impact infrastructure resilience and long-term planning.
