We pursue mastery not for ego, but because people, moments, and missions deserve our best.REPORTS TO: Event ProducersTYPE OF POSITION: Freelance / Contract (Onsite, Market-Based)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the onsite lead and primary point of contact, representing Fifth Street DMC with professionalism and confidenceParticipate in pre-event virtual planning meetings with internal teams, clients, and partners to ensure alignment, if applicableTake ownership of onsite execution including setup, live event management, and breakdownExecute run-of-show and production timelines with precisionManage guest check-in and deliver a warm, polished, and organized arrival experienceCoordinate with vendors, venues, and staffing teams to ensure seamless operationsTroubleshoot issues in real time with a calm, solutions-first mindsetCommunicate updates to internal teams throughout the event, including status updates, photos, and key momentsEnsure all event elements meet brand standards and deliver a high-quality guest experienceSupport post-event breakdown, including packing materials, coordinating returns, and resetting the spaceREQUIREMENTS:Based in Raleigh, North Carolina (local candidates only)Prior experience in events, hospitality, or experiential marketingProven ability to execute both large-scale and small, high-touch eventsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with clients and large groupsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and dependableResourceful and solutions-minded, with the ability to stay composed under pressureSelf-starter who can take initiative while also collaborating with a teamFlexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and per-event workWillingness to travel locally as neededProfessional presence and strong customer service mindsetAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbsComfortable working in active, fast-paced event environments
