This role involves generating innovative concepts, crafting comprehensive designs, and establishing effective communication channels with production partners to deliver exceptional end products.ResponsibilitiesAssisting the design team in the management of Studio Woven and the Bespoke Customs departmentContributing to the development of new collections, encompassing rugs, products, and furnitureCreating mill yarn cardsColor matchingCleaning up and resizing CAD filesPreparing spec sheetsProviding assistance with custom rug orders, including renderings and technical artworkQualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Textile Design or other textile-specific courseDemonstrable creative proficiency showcased through your portfolioUp-to-date knowledge of contemporary color and design trendsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly PhotoshopComfortable using a variety of approaches to design development, such as hand-sketching, collaging, digital drawing and moreAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and dedicationQuick and creative thinkingEnthusiastic about learning and proactive in taking on new responsibilitiesPunctual, organized, and detail-orientedCapable of both independent work and effective collaborationBenefitsAt Woven, we believe in taking care of our team.
