The ideal candidate will focus on improving production yield, optimizing manufacturing processes, and driving Lean manufacturing initiatives across the facility.This role works closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve overall production performanceLocation: Huntsville, AlabamaExperience: 5+ yearsKey ResponsibilitiesAnalyze production processes to improve yield, efficiency, and throughputLead Lean manufacturing initiatives including waste reduction, process standardization, and continuous improvementImplement and drive Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping activitiesIdentify root causes of yield loss, scrap, and process variabilityDevelop and maintain KPIs related to production efficiency, yield, and cycle timeSupport process optimization, line balancing, and capacity planningDrive data-driven decision making through statistical analysis and performance trackingLead or support continuous improvement projects across the manufacturing floorEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operationsStrong experience with yield improvement and process optimizationHands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, VSM)Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
