Since opening its first venue in Jeju, South Korea in September 2020, ARTE MUSEUM has welcomed over five million cumulative visitors and expanded to major cities worldwide.Join the team at ARTE MUSEUM Las Vegas "” d'strict's first media art museum in the United States.Position Overviewd'strict Americas is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to support our growing U.S. operations across Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles (opening soon). This role is the primary HR point of contact for all U.S. entities and plays a critical part in ensuring a consistent, compliant, and people-first workplace experience.The HR Manager will work closely with local leadership and our Global HR team headquarter in Seoul, Korea. Daily reporting and communication with HQ is conducted in Korean; business-level Korean proficiency is an operational requirement of this position.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingReview job descriptions, post openings, and conduct interviewsManage the offer process, background checks, and E-VerifyOversee end-to-end ADP onboarding, employee orientation, and system setupHR Policies & ComplianceDevelop and implement HR policies in compliance with U.S. federal and state regulationsMaintain and update the Employee HandbookMonitor HR compliance across working conditions, leave, termination, and benefits across all U.S. entitiesPayroll & Benefits AdministrationProcess bi-weekly payroll via ADPManage PTO, 401(k), employee benefits, open enrollment, and invoice reviewOffboardingManage end-to-end offboarding processes, including termination administration and benefits coordinationEmployee RelationsHandle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretionConduct required trainings including harassment prevention and workplace safetySupport employees and managers across all U.S. locationsPerformance Management & CompensationSupport mid-year and annual performance evaluations and promotion reviewsAssist with salary adjustment processes and compensation documentationEmployee Data ManagementMaintain and update employee master data and HR documentation across all systemsHR Communication & ReportingServe as the primary HR liaison between U.S. operations and Global HR at HQ in SeoulConduct daily communication and reporting in Korean with the Korean headquartersCoordinate with General Managers across Las Vegas, New York, and Los AngelesRequired QualificationsKorean Language Proficiency: Business-level proficiency in Korean (written and verbal) "” required for daily communication and reporting with Global HR at our Seoul headquarters. This is an operational requirement of the role.HR Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on HR experience in the U.S., with demonstrated ability to manage multi-location HR operations independentlyEnglish Proficiency: Native or native-equivalent proficiency in English, both written and verbalLabor Law Knowledge: Solid, practical understanding of U.S. federal and state labor laws (CA, NV, NY) with applied compliance experienceOrganizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsProblem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretionTime Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-location environmentCross-Cultural Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across cultural environments, particularly in a Korean-American corporate settingTravel: Willingness and ability to travel domestically (CA, NV, NY) as neededWork Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
