With decades of hands-on experience, the company is known for durable workmanship, practical engineering solutions, and a strong commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.Position SummaryTransco Industries Inc. is seeking a Safety & Operations Administrator to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), compliance, and operational processes at its Portland, OR fabrication facility. This is a primarily office-based role with occasional visits to fabrication and belt service sites. The position plays a key role in maintaining OSHA, environmental, and operational documentation while supporting HR, Operations, and Project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport OSHA, Fire Marshal, and environmental compliance documentationManage stormwater, environmental, and EHS recordkeepingAssist with health and safety program implementation, training coordination, and documentationSupport accident investigations, corrective actions, and safety reportingReview and validate time entry for fabrication and field teamsMaintain equipment, maintenance, and company vehicle documentationProvide administrative support to HR, Operations, and Project teamsAssist with project submittals, documentation, and compliance records as neededSupport a safe, organized, and compliant fabrication and service environmentTravel RequirementTravel is required and may include extended stays at job sites in states where work is being performedTravel will support field operations, fabrication facilities, and project locations as neededQualificationsExperience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or EHS complianceFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in metal fabrication, industrial, construction, or manufacturing environmentsExperience with safety training coordination and accident investigation processesStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentialityBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experienceSafety, OSHA, or environmental compliance certifications are a plusPrior experience in metal fabrication, conveyor systems, industrial services, or heavy industry highly preferredAbility to work on-site in Portland, OR, with occasional site visitsWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-based in Portland, OR, with periodic visits to fabrication shops and conveyor service locations.Candidate Submission RequirementsPlease submit:ResumeHourly rate expectationsEarliest availabilityThis role offers the chance to make a direct impact on safety, compliance, and day-to-day operations across multiple facilities and job sites.
