Our client, a well-known and respected investment management company, is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Legal Operations & Business Systems Manager to lead and enhance the effectiveness of their Legal Operations function. This role sits at the intersection of legal, technology, and business strategy that will drive operational excellence, optimize systems, and ensure compliance across a complex and evolving environment. The ideal candidate is both analytical and forward-thinking, with a passion for process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and leveraging technology (including automation and AI) to elevate performance.Please note this is a hybrid, temp-to-perm position based in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $120k-$150k/yr.Key Responsibilities: Lead corporate governance and entity management processes, including formations, filings, and maintenance of legal documentationEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations; monitor changes and implement risk mitigation strategiesManage trusts administration, bank and investment account operations, and support contract review and legal documentationOversee Legal Ops systems and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI), ensuring data accuracy and efficiencyDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system integrations to streamline workflows and enhance performanceLead and execute cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are metPartner closely with Legal, IT, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to optimize systems and operationsServe as a trusted point of contact, managing sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgmentIdentify and implement emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, to improve reporting and operational effectivenessSupport team development through training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiativesQualifications: 3-4 years of experience in Corporate Paralegal, Legal Operations, Program Management, or a related fieldStrong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and risk managementProven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvementsExperience with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, or similar platformsExpertise in data analytics, reporting, and automation toolsExcellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detailExceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligencePlease submit your resume for consideration!You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.We suggest that you ensure you have updated your LinkedIn profile and that you start collecting your references early.We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
