Job Title: Compliance and Risk Administrative AssistantLocation: Hybrid in SF (2 days in-office / 3 days remote)Compensation: 120-140k + bonus + benefitsOur clientOur client is a highly regarded, fast-growing firm operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and regulatory excellence. With a strong reputation for integrity and innovation, the organization is investing in scaling its Compliance and Risk Management functions to support continued growth and evolving industry demands.The OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created, high-impact role supporting the Chief Compliance Officer while helping shape the operational backbone of a fantastic Compliance and Risk team. This is a chance to act as a strategic partner, bringing structure, foresight, and cohesion to a fast-moving, intellectually rigorous environment. The right candidate will play a critical role in building processes, driving efficiency, and elevating how the team operates.Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex calendaring and scheduling for the CCO, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is optimizedCoordinate team meetings, communications, and cross-functional touchpoints to maintain alignment and momentumOwn and streamline the annual compliance manual review process, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are metLead logistics and execution of the annual compliance meeting, including end-to-end coordinationAct as a central hub for team operations, ensuring seamless communication and workflow across a distributed teamSupport light travel coordination, primarily for conferences and key eventsIdentify process gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve team efficiency and effectivenessAssist in onboarding and supporting team adoption of new technologies, including emerging AI toolsIdeal BackgroundMinimum 8 years experience supporting C-suite executives in a professional services environment, ideally asset management, financial services, or legal environmentsPrior exposure to Legal or Compliance teams is requiredStrong ability to "manage up" and operate as a proactive, strategic partnerDemonstrated success building or improving administrative processes and workflowsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyConfident communicator with the ability to engage and coordinate across diverse stakeholdersResourceful, solutions-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguityHigh level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive informationA 4-year college degree is requiredThis role is ideal for a driven, thoughtful professional who thrives on ownership, enjoys building from the ground up, and is eager to make a lasting impact within a critical function.
