Market Director, Clinical EducationLocation: Framingham / Worcester, MA (Supporting 3 hospitals within the market)Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct HireCompensation: $125,000 - $170,000 annuallyPosition OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Market Director, Clinical Education to lead and execute clinical education strategy across multiple acute care hospitals within a regional healthcare market. This leadership role is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to support high-quality patient care outcomes.The Market Director serves as a strategic leader, mentor, and subject matter expert, overseeing clinical educators, staff development initiatives, competency programs, and educational compliance. This role collaborates closely with nursing leadership, medical staff, and hospital administration to promote clinical excellence, professional development, and regulatory readiness across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Education Leadership and StrategyLead the execution of the clinical education strategic plan across multiple hospital facilitiesPlan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate clinical education programs across all disciplinesEnsure clinical education programs align with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practicesServe as a subject matter expert on clinical education regulations, standards, and accreditation requirementsStaff Development and Clinical Competency ManagementOversee ongoing staff development programs, competency assessments, and continuing education initiativesIdentify, develop, and maintain competency programs, including high-risk and low-volume clinical skillsEnsure competencies are reviewed and updated regularly to meet regulatory and clinical requirementsSupport professional development and continuing education opportunities for nursing and clinical staffLeadership and Team ManagementProvide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to market and facility clinical educatorsCollaborate with hospital leadership, nursing directors, and interdisciplinary teams to support education initiativesSupport performance improvement initiatives and organizational quality goalsPromote a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and staff engagementProgram Management and Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirementsAlign education programs with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and best practicesParticipate in strategic planning related to clinical education and workforce developmentConduct education needs assessments and develop targeted training programsCollaboration and Stakeholder EngagementPartner with executive leadership, department directors, medical staff, and clinical teamsSupport initiatives that improve patient outcomes, staff performance, and patient satisfactionCollaborate with organizational leadership to ensure alignment with strategic initiativesRequired QualificationsEducation:Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) requiredGraduate of an accredited school of nursingExperience:Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital settingActive clinical background with direct patient care experienceMinimum 3 years of clinical leadership experience (Director, Assistant Director, or similar leadership role)Minimum 3 years of teaching, staff development, or clinical education experienceExperience supporting education programs within a hospital or healthcare systemLicensure and Certifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MassachusettsCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationPreferred QualificationsExperience managing clinical education across multiple facilities or healthcare systemsStrong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation standardsExperience leading competency programs, clinical training, and professional development initiativesDemonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development experienceWork EnvironmentOnsite role supporting multiple hospitals within the Framingham / Worcester, MA marketAcute care hospital and clinical environmentCollaborative leadership environment with multidisciplinary teamsWhy Work With Wheeler Staffing PartnersWheeler Staffing Partners connects talented healthcare professionals with leading healthcare organizations committed to clinical excellence and professional growth.
