Human Resources Manager

StaffBright is looking to hire an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join our client's manufacturing facility in Lansing, MI. This role is highly visible within the plant and plays a key part in supporting employees, leadership, and HR operations in a fast-paced production environment.What You Will Be Doing:Serve as the primary HR leader for the plant, providing day-to-day support and coaching to associates, supervisors, and plant leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives.Partner closely with plant leadership and HR team members to drive employee engagement, performance management, and workforce development.Oversee and support core HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, safety compliance, and labor law adherence.Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors, helping them navigate employee issues and strengthen leadership capability across the facility.Support a two-shift manufacturing operation, ensuring HR coverage and responsiveness during production demands and occasional extended hours.Participate as a key member of the plant leadership team, contributing to operational discussions and workforce planning initiatives.What We Need From You:7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Manager or similar leadership role.Manufacturing or automotive plant experience required, with additional consideration given to candidates from logistics or warehouse environments.Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, safety practices, benefits administration, and payroll processes.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.StaffBright - Who We AreStaffBright connects exceptional professionals with fulfilling opportunities in Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing.
