We have positions nationwide and internationally.Responsibilities of Middle School LibrarianCultivate a love of reading, strengthen information literacy, and design meaningful learning experiences that integrate research, technology, creativity, and critical thinking for middle school students.Implement instructional practices that fosters students' information literacy and critical thinking skills.Teach lessons on digital tools including how to thoughtfully use generative AI.Assess current use of digital systems identifying needs for improvement, alignment, and faculty support.Collaborate with faculty to integrate best research practices into curriculum and enhance student learning outcomes.Serve as an advisor for students, ensuring their academic success and overall development.Requirements of Middle School Librarian:Master of Library Science (MLS) or equivalent advanced degree.Previous K-12 teaching or school librarian experience required.Expertise with library management systems.Passion for working with middle school students.Demonstrated expertise in learning management systems (LMS).U.S. Work Authorization required.Additional Desired Qualities:Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.Potential Benefits: Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographic location, your experience, and your level of degree.??
