HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTER - HRBPSix+ W2 Contract- Good chance to convert On-site - San Jose, CA Hourly rate: $60 - 75/hr. W2 (ONLY)Prefer semiconductor space, manufacturing (LAM, Applied, Cadence, AKM, Tower Semiconductors, NXP, CNEX, semtech) Need HR experience with Visa/immigration. Merger & Acquisition experience a plus. Seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for our San Jose, CA location. This resource will support on-site manufacturing teams working alongside engineering, technology, product support, field service, and other essential business functions. In this highly visible role, you will be on-site, supporting a wide variety of activities, including employee relations, organizational development, performance management, recruiting, and visa support, as well as HR leadership involvement in key business initiatives, programs, and projects.Responsibilities: Provide HR counsel and support to the local leadership team and site employees on HR-related matters. (Once comfortable, there may be an opportunity to expand influence and take on other business functions).Ensure that the company is compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and keep site leadership and HR management informed of potential HR-related legal issues. Provide solutions and recommendations and work closely with the business to resolve issues and maintain compliance. Work collaboratively with HR functions like Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Learning to drive the global talent strategy and maximize talent impact and effectiveness. Partner with Compensation & Benefits to ensure consistent compensation structures. Deliver exceptional HR support and enable business leaders and employees to meet their objectives. Work collaboratively with other company sites and HR colleagues to ensure consistent and scalable HR processes and services throughout the organization. Assist in the implementation of efficient, effective, and compliant HR systems and practices consistent with the company's global HR approach and suggest improvement opportunities when practical. Direct activities and programs to support open and effective communication between management and employees that nurture and promote an effective culture consistent with the company's Core Values. Alert leadership to developing issues and monitor employee morale. Work closely with site leadership on change management activities. Proactively evaluate the site's organizational design and recommend strategies to optimize effectiveness. Consult, advise, and assist managers at all levels to improve their effectiveness with their employees, and drive effective coaching, employee engagement, and satisfaction. When necessary, coach managers on proactive performance management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or other relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of direct HR experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager or a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience is required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is also required. A professional HR certification is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Impeccable integrity and courage Knowledge of public company dynamics Enjoys working with a diverse employee population comprised of exempt and non-exempt staff Demonstrated knowledge of federal and California employment law Strong judgment, situational awareness, analysis, and decision-making skills ERP experience strongly preferred (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.) Good computer skills (e.g., MS Office suite of products) Excellent influencing, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills Ability to coordinate, organize, and manage programs/projects in a global environment Skilled at fostering healthy working relationships at all levels Personal attributes: Self-starter, detail-oriented, and thrives managing multiple priorities with limited resources, enjoys both tactical (administrative) and strategic work The estimated pay range for this position is USD $60.00/hr - USD $75.00/hr.
