We believe that innovative technology is integral to our mission of strengthening families.Learn more about Parents Anonymous: more about the CA and National Parent and Youth Helplines: Overview:Parents Anonymous Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Research Director to oversee research operations, data collection systems, and quality assurance. You will manage the research team, including Data Analysts, and collaborate with consultants to ensure all grant and contract deliverables are met. You will also lead the development of written research protocols, data analysis, and the creation of publishable materials that highlight key research findings. If you are passionate about leading research efforts that directly contribute to building on the strengths of Parents, Children and Youth, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement and manage Research Plan to further the goals of Parents Anonymous Inc.Lead the operations of the Randomized Contrial Trial of the Weekly Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous Groups including following protocols, managing quality assurance.Develop and manage research operations, data collection systems, and protocols to ensure all grant and contract deliverables are met.Recruit, train, and supervise Data Manager and Analysts, overseeing their daily tasks, performance evaluations, and professional development.Collaborate with the MIS Consultant to coordinate database-related tasks and ensure alignment with research objectives.Oversee and maintain the proprietary Program Tracking System (PTS) and Chakra systems to manage data and ensure accurate tracking of outcomes.Lead quality assurance and data analysis, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data in coordination with Program Staff.Collaborate with Evaluation Consultants on all research projects, ensuring proper data collection and quality assurance protocols are followed.Manage the transcription process for research-related calls, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.Lead and contribute to the development of peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and scientific publications to disseminate key research findings.Assist in the development of technical infrastructure related to data collection and reporting, ensuring alignment with research objectives.Provide strategic insights and data analysis to contribute to organizational decision-making and planning.Supervise the hardware and software management for research-related operations, ensuring technical resources are aligned with data collection needs.General:Advocate for the vision, mission, and goals of Parents Anonymous Inc.Implement all Polices and Best Practices of Parents Anonymous Inc. to ensure professionalism and commitment.Implement job responsibilities professionally, accepting feedback and demonstrating increased competencies through ongoing training and supervision.Demonstrate increased competencies to ensure professional excellence.Participate and actively engage in all required training and weekly supervision.Build a positive work environment.Maintain chain of command.Maintain accurate daily Outlook calendar and share with assigned Supervisor and Vice President with approved work schedule detailing events and locations.Create and maintain accurate and complete SMART Task List.Utilize the S.M.A.R.T model, Registered Service Marks and accurate Parents Anonymous person-centered language in all written and verbal communications.Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other professional standards of practice which include all written and verbal information containing sensitive/confidential content with utmost discretion.Keep an accurate daily Outlook calendar and share it with supervisors to ensure clear communication regarding availability and commitments.Respond promptly and thoroughly to staff emails and communications to foster teamwork and collaboration.Attend and engage in required training, staff meetings, and weekly supervision to enhance skills and competencies.Prepare to utilize supervision log at weekly supervision of all assigned staff and weekly team meetings.Respond to all staff emails and communications rapidly and thoroughly to foster an atmosphere of teamwork.Secure assigned computer, laptop, monitor and all Parents Anonymous equipment.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.Maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications.Ensure security and proper use of all assigned equipment (e.g., computer, laptop, monitor).Complete additional tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Ph.D. from a R1 University in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Data Science, Psychology, or 5 years + Experience with complex evaluations in applied social services or behavioral health services settings area).Minimum of 5 years of experience in research management, data analysis, or MIS coordination.Proven experience managing and coordinating data systems with a focus on research protocols and quality assurance.Experience writing and publishing peer-reviewed papers, white papers, or scientific reports, with strong research and scientific writing skills.Strong technical skills in managing data systems, hardware, and software related to research analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, with experience managing research teams.Reliable transportation and availability to report to the office as needed.Job Type: Full-timePay Range: $110,000-120,000 per yearBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance403b RetirementMileage ReimbursementPaid Time Off (5 sick days and at least 10 vacation day first per year)15 Paid Holidays per year
