An MEP Project Manager oversees the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects. This role coordinates design, procurement, installation, scheduling, budgeting, and commissioning activities to ensure MEP systems are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all MEP scopes for construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutCoordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractorsReview drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructabilityDevelop and maintain MEP schedules and sequencing plansMonitor project budgets, costs, change orders, and procurement activitiesLead MEP coordination meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality requirementsTrack project progress and resolve technical or field coordination issuesSupport commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover activitiesCoordinate inspections and ensure timely completion of punch-list itemsMaintain project documentation, RFIs, meeting minutes, and reportsAssist with value engineering and constructability reviews
