Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 base salary + performance-based bonusAbout the OpportunityA leading global supply chain and logistics organization is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee operations within a fast-paced distribution and transportation environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a high-volume operation.This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building strong teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesLead distribution, packaging, warehousing, and transportation operations to achieve business objectives and customer expectations.Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies.Ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability within the operation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, value, service, and cost reduction.Oversee compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations.Manage operational budgets and P&L performance.Develop staffing plans while managing labor costs, overtime, and retention strategies.Promote a strong safety culture to protect associates, equipment, and facilities.Analyze operational performance metrics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Prepare and present weekly and monthly operational reports.Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.Deliver a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.QualificationsRequired Experience & Skills5+ years of management experience in a high-volume 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or transportation environment.Strong P&L management experience.Experience supporting high-volume e-commerce operations.Strong operational background in both inbound and outbound logistics.Proven leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and leadership levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WMS platforms, databases, and operational reporting tools.Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies preferred.Excellent organizational and team development skills.Experience with ADP platforms, including Workforce Now and Workforce Manager, is a plus.Flexibility to support operational business needs as required.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.Prior experience in a 3PL environment strongly preferred.Why Join?Opportunity to make a significant operational impact within a growing organization.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Strong opportunities for career growth and professional development.Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and additional employee benefitsIf you are a results-driven operations leader with a passion for continuous improvement and team development, we encourage you to apply.
