Senior User Experience Designer

We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to help define and grow our Client's mobile app experience within the consumer electronics industry. This role sits within a core consumer product team consisting of product managers, engineers, and designers working on high-impact software features.You will play a key role in leading, defining, and driving the user experience for our mobile applications. You'll influence product direction, collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, and contribute to both strategic and hands-on design work. This role requires end-to-end product design ownership"”from early-stage user research to high-fidelity prototyping.You should be a strong collaborator and strategic thinker, comfortable working across disciplines to bring ideas to life. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor and guide other designers.Key Responsibilities:Work autonomously while balancing design quality within technical constraints and business requirementsEngage with partners and end users to understand their needs and design experiences that guide onboarding, education, troubleshooting, and product usageUse customer research, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to develop and validate design solutionsContribute to and evolve the design system, including shared patterns, components, and documentationCollaborate closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Brand, and MarketingPartner with other designers to maintain design consistency, share feedback, and foster continuous learningRequired Skills & Experience:7+ years of experience in UX design or interaction designExperience with visual designExperience conducting user research, usability testing, and developing personas/journey mapsExperience defining and maintaining design systems and UX standardsExperience designing complex workflowsExperience delivering design solutions for large-scale, complex projectsProficiency in design tools such as Figma, Rive, Spline, Adobe Creative Suite, etcIG has benefit options available at a discount from Day 1 of employment, pay range for this role is $65-$75/hour. This role is HYBRID in San Francisco, 2-3 days per week. 6-month contract + extensions or conversion on salary.
