Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Direct Hire)We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in a high-impact role essential to our operational success. This professional will be responsible for ensuring that material supply and inventory levels flow seamlessly throughout the organization. Acting as a key collaborator with our vendors, you will represent the company's contribution to these valued partnerships. Position OverviewSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 (Based on experience)Employment Type: Direct Hire / Permanent PlacementKey ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Oversight: Manage multiple product lines from point of origin to point of consumption. Strategic Planning: Develop material purchase plans driven by sales forecasts and customer demand. Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and waste to provide strategic insights for improving inventory flow. Logistics & Balance: Develop strategic approaches to balance shipments, shortages, and logistics while managing engineering changes and cancellations. Coordination: Manage material movements between storage areas and external suppliers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Shipping and Receiving to ensure smooth supply chain flow. High-Level Advisory: Provide strategic recommendations on ongoing projects for each product line and source materials/resources worldwide. QualificationsEducation: Minimum BA/BS Degree in a business-related field. Experience: 5-7 years in a regulated manufacturing environment is required. Technical Expertise: Proficient in Material Resource Planning (MRP). Global Relations: Proven experience building and maintaining international and domestic supplier relationships. Tech-Savvy: Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM are considered a strong plus.
