Principal Scientist - Method DevelopmentWe are partnering with an organization that specializes in helping companies test products faster, more efficiently, and with greater regulatory confidence across industries such as dietary supplements, botanicals, and consumer health products.This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist who thrives in R&D environments, enjoys solving complex testing challenges, and wants to directly influence business growth through scientific innovation.What You'll DoLead research and developmentefforts focused on creating, optimizing, and validating new analytical testing methods.Develop testing methodologies for products such as: Dietary supplements, Botanicals, Vitamins, Powders, capsules, and tablets, Heavy metals and related analytes.Utilize advanced analytical instrumentation, including: HPLC / UHPLC, LC-MS / Mass Spectrometry platformsDrive improvements in: Method validation, Scalability of laboratory operations, Testing turnaround times, Cost efficiencyPartner with senior scientific staff to troubleshoot analytical challenges and improve execution speed.Build systems and processes that expand laboratory testing capabilities and support rapid company growth.What We're Looking For8+ years of experience in analytical chemistry or method developmentStrong expertise in HPLC-based method development is required.Hands-on experience with LC-MS / Mass Spectrometry platforms.Experience testing dietary supplements, botanicals, nutraceuticals, food products, or pharmaceutical products.PhD or equivalent industry experience.LocationAnn Arbor, Michigan (on-site, 5 days/week)
