Environmental Project ManagerHouston, TX | RemediationTexas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) Essential | Railroad Commission (RRC) Experience a BonusIf you're an experienced remediation PM who understands Texas regulations inside out and wants more ownership over your projects, this could be a strong next step.My client is a growing boutique environmental consulting firm known for giving project managers autonomy, client exposure, and leadership responsibility. They trust their PMs to lead from the front, manage clients directly, and play a visible role in the firm's growth.The RoleYou'll manage soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects across Texas, overseeing work from site characterization through corrective action and regulatory closure.Typical responsibilities include:• Managing site investigation and remediation projects• Overseeing drilling, sampling, and remedial implementation• Preparing technical reports, work plans, and cost estimates• Managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors• Leading client and regulator communication• Mentoring junior scientists and engineers• Supporting proposals and business development effortsRegulatory & Technical Focus:This role requires strong working knowledge of Texas environmental programs, including:• Direct experience working with TCEQ regulatory programs• Solid understanding of state corrective action frameworks• Familiarity with site closure processes and reporting requirementsTexas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) experience is essential particularly 30 TAC 350 Railroad Commission (RRC) project experience a major advantageWhat They're Looking For• 6-10 years of environmental consulting experience• PE or PG license preferred• Strong remediation and corrective action background• Extensive report writing and regulatory submittal experience• Demonstrated project management capability• Texas consulting experience requiredBeyond technical ability, team fit matters.
