This role serves as a trusted Workday advisor to HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and IT stakeholders. To meet organizational goals, this person translates business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, collaborates with vendors and implementation partners, promotes Workday best practices, and understands global compliance requirements.Keys to the position:6+ years' experience in hands-on Workday HRIS role on a production environment6+ years of configuration experienceFunctional experience with Workday HCM (Core HR) and Talent & Performance ManagementExperience with Reports, Business Process Frameworks and Strong understanding of HR business processesAbility to work onsite in Boston 4 days a weekThis is a Right to hire ResponsibilitiesWorkday HCM (Core HR)Configure and support Core HCM worker lifecycle events including Hire, Job Change, Transfer, and LeaveMaintain and optimize Supervisory Organizations, Staffing Models, Positions, Job Profiles, Job FamiliesEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across worker, job/position, and organizational structuresPartner with HR to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutionTalent & Performance ManagementSME for Talent modules including Performance Reviews, Goals, Feedback, and Succession PlanningSupport annual and off?cycle performance processes, including year?end performance cyclesConfigure review templates, sections, rating scales, eligibility conditions, and related Business ProcessesSupport continuous enhancements to talent profiles, competencies, and development plansSecurity & Access ManagementSupport Workday Security configuration including security groups, domains, and business process securityTroubleshot access issues related to tasks, reports, and business processesPartner with HR, IT, and compliance teams on access provisioning and periodic security reviewsEnsure appropriate segregation of duties and least?privilege accesBusiness Process Framework Configure and maintain Business Processes across HCM, Time/Absence, Talent, Comp, Benefits, and payrollMaintain approval workflows, notifications, condition rules, validations, and step?level securityEnsure BPF configuration aligns with internal controls, audit requirements, and operational efficiencyReporting & AnalyticsDesign, build, and support custom reports, including Advanced and Matrix reports and dashboardsCreate and maintain Calculated Fields (e.g., LRV, ESI, Lookup, Conditional, Arithmetic)Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness of reportsBenefits Administration and CompensationProvide application support for Workday configuration related to benefits, compensation, and payroll?dependent objectsConfigure and maintain eligibility rules, compensation plans, calculated fields, and business processesPartner with Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll teams to support Open Enrollment, merit/bonus cycles, audits, and compliance?driven changesTime Tracking and Absence ManagementConfigure and maintain Time Calculation, Time Entry Codes, Work Schedules, Time Schedules, eligibilityConfigure and maintain Absence Plans, Accruals, Eligibility Rules, Period Schedules, and validationsTesting, Releases & Continuous ImprovementSupport Workday releases, including release notes review, impact assessment, promoting adoption, testingProactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, configuration, and user experienceQualifications6+ years' experience in hands-on Workday HRIS role on a production environment6+ years of configuration experienceStrong understanding of HR business processesExperience supporting critical annual cycles (performance, compensation, open enrollment)Demonstrated understanding of cross?functional dependencies across Benefits, Payroll, and CompensationAbility to troubleshoot complex system and data issuesWorkday HCM certification strongly preferredAdditional relevant Workday certifications a strong plusLocal to our Boston office a strong plusPayroll experience a plusEstimated Min Rate$49.11Estimated Max Rate$70.15What's In It for You?We welcome you to be a part of the largest and legendary global staffing companies to meet your career aspirations.
