Learning & Development ManagerLocation: Harvey, IL (60426)Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $110,000-$130,000 base + small bonus (bonus structure evolving next year)We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Learning & Development leader who will own and scale the company's learning, leadership, and succession strategies. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to build and evolve L&D frameworks that directly support business growth, leadership readiness, and long-term talent development.What You'll Be Responsible ForOwn and execute the Learning & Talent Development strategy, aligned to workforce capability needs, leadership readiness, and succession planningLead the organization's succession planning efforts, including talent reviews, bench strength assessments, and readiness planning for critical and leadership rolesDesign and deliver leadership and manager development programs tied to succession outcomes"”not generic trainingBuild and continuously improve standardized onboarding programs to reduce ramp time and increase early productivityCreate career pathways and development frameworks that support internal mobility and retentionDesign and facilitate blended learning programs (instructor-led, digital, experiential, coaching/mentoring)Own and administer the LMS, ensuring adoption, scalability, and meaningful use of dataTrack and analyze learning and development metrics (ramp time, readiness, promotion rates, development plan completion)Partner closely with HR leadership, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders as a trusted advisor on talent and capability needsManage day-to-day L&D operations and help prepare the function for future scaleWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)7-10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, OD, and/or Succession PlanningProven experience designing and leading leadership, learning, and succession programs in a complex environmentStrong facilitation, executive stakeholder management, coaching, and curriculum design skillsExperience with LMS administration, leadership assessments, and talent analytics strongly preferredManufacturing or multi-site experience is a plusRelevant certifications (SHRM-SCP, CPTD/CPLP, ICF) are a plusThis is an excellent opportunity for an L&D leader who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution, and who wants a seat at the table driving leadership readiness and long-term talent outcomes.??
