Job Title: Process Engineer - Investment CastingJob Type: Full-TimeWork Environment: On-site manufacturing facilityPay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 (based on relevant experience)Shift/Hours: Standard day shift, Monday-FridayOverview / Job DescriptionA manufacturing-focused engineering organization is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve investment casting operations. This role owns the metallurgical and materials aspects of the casting process, supporting both new product development and ongoing production. The Process Engineer partners closely with Product Engineering and the manufacturing team to drive high-yield, cost-effective products while meeting strict customer quality requirements. This position is hands-on, team-oriented, and customer-facing, requiring strong technical and communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, troubleshoot, and optimize processes for both production and developmental castingsOwn metallurgical and material characteristics of the investment casting processDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cost reduction, and qualityAnalyze product yields using analytical tools and implement data-driven process improvementsPartner with Product Engineers on new development and production programsProvide technical support to customers and address metallurgical or process-related concernsWork directly with manufacturing teams to implement and sustain process improvementsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process engineering roleExperience using SolidWorks and AutoCADStrong analytical skills with experience evaluating yields and process performanceAbility to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and customersStrong written and verbal communication skillsPlusses (Nice to Have)Investment casting experienceBachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials EngineeringDirect experience supporting both development and production castings
