Role: FlexNet (Flexera) Implementation LeadLocation: Dallas TX // Hybrid // RemoteTerm: ContractJob SummaryProvide technical and operational support for enterprise software license infrastructure and vendor-managed licensing environments to ensure availability, license compliance, and user provisioning.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & ImplementationDesign, develop, and maintain solutions on FlexNet Operations (FNO) and FlexNet Embedded (FNE).Architect and implement FlexNet Operations (FNO), FlexNet Embedded (FNE), or FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) based on organizational SAM needs.Design and implement licensing workflows, entitlement management, and product packaging.Integrate FlexNet with ERP, CRM, and cloud-based applications.Integration & Platform ManagementBuild and maintain integrations with ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and internal applications.Oversee server setup, Beacon configuration, database preparation, and agent deployment for FNMS environments.Maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX server environments supporting Flexera tools.Administer license portals, cloud license managers, remote dongles, and entitlement systems.Operations & TroubleshootingTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in licensing and entitlement systems.Ensure compliance, scalability, and performance of FlexNet implementations.Perform license file updates, reauthentication, and configuration changes for renewals and vendor licensing models.Conduct monthly license hygiene and cleanup based on usage and compliance reporting.Security & Access ManagementAdminister cloud-based license managers and manage user provisioning within license portals.Manage remote dongles and other licensing mechanisms.Ensure secure authentication using SSO/SAML/OAuth for Flexera integrations.Collaboration & LeadershipCollaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.Work with ITAM, Infrastructure, and Deployment teams to ensure system availability and continuity.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance.Drive continuous SAM processes, automation, and data quality improvements.Primary Technology SkillsHands-on experience with FNMS, FlexNet Operations (FNO), FlexNet Embedded (FNE)Strong understanding of software licensing models, entitlement management, and monetization strategiesProficiency in APIs, scripting, SQL, IIS, and multi-OS environmentsHybrid environment design experience (containerized platforms like AKS/EKS preferred for senior roles)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)PowerShell, Python, and Bash scriptingAzure Automation, Jenkins, GitHub ActionsData modeling, normalization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, load balancers)Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersDeliverablesProcess flowsMentorship and knowledge transfer to client project team membersContribution to all assigned project deliverablesParticipation in data conversion and maintenanceBest practice and industry solution recommendationsAlternative (out-of-the-box) solution designThought leadership and hands-on configuration/developmentParticipation as functional team member
