Job Title: Senior Electrical EngineerCompensation: $130k - $170k Base Salary + Bonus (Up to 10%)Location: West Orange County, California - OnsiteHours: Monday to Friday - flexible hoursBenefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching up to 4%The Client:Lumicity has partnered with an exciting and expanding company operating within the clean energy and power generation space on their search for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. Our client is focused on the development of advanced industrial energy solutions to produce energy. The ideal candidate for this position will hold strong experience surrounding certifications and compliance of power conversion systems, inverters and industrial electrical equipment.The Benefits:Strong compensation package up to $170k base salaryPersonal and company performance-based bonus scheme - up to 10%Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan - company can match up to 4%10 days paid time off plus paid holidaysChristmas Shutdown5 days sick payThe Responsibilities:Lead electrical compliance and certification from concept through to validationReview, support and make amendments to electrical system designs and schematics to ensure that compliance is passed.Identify relevant global electrical safety standards early in the design phase to ensure that all systems meet electrical safety requirements (protection, fault handling, safe operation etc)Evaluate key safety considerations such as insulation, grounding, creepage and clearance distances, and implement design improvements where required.Develop technical documentation including risk assessments and compliance reportsSupport EMC/EMI design and testing activities, including development of mitigation strategies and coordination of compliance testing.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are metThe Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical EngineeringRelevant experience surrounding Electrical Design and Compliance within clean energy, power generation or a similar industryStrong understanding of electrical certifications and compliance standards (UL, IEC, CSA, EN etc)Proven experience certifying power electronics and electrical systemsStrong skillset and experience within electrical design with the ability to review and assess designs for compliance and safetyFamiliarity with EMC/EMI compliance and testing (advantageous)Experience with conversion equipment, power systems or energy related technologies (advantageous)For immediate consideration, please click apply and attach a copy of your resume.
