Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Requirement Description:Manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments across:Linux/Unix and Windows serversVirtualized and cloud environmentsMiddleware and application hosting platformsMonitor infrastructure health, performance, and system availabilityTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecksSupport deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure componentsCollaborate with application, database, network, security, and DevOps teamsImplement infrastructure automation and operational improvementsPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiativesMaintain system documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagramsEnsure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and banking regulatory requirementsSupport disaster recovery, backup, and high availability strategiesParticipate in on-call support rotations and incident management processesRequired Qualifications to be Successful in this role:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required.5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration5+ years of experience in Infrastructure monitoring and observability toolsStrong experience with Server provisioning and configuration managementGood knowledge of Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls); Enterprise storage and backup solutions5+ years of experience with Shell scripting; Python or PowershellFamiliarity with CI/CD Pipelines & DevOps practicesExperience supporting Enterprise applications & middleware platformsExperience supporting database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilitiesExperience performing root cause analysis (RCA)Understanding of system performance tuning and capacity planningExperience working in high-availability and mission-critical environmentsDesired Skills:Experience in Banking or Financial services industry is a plusExposure to cloud platforms - AWS, Azure or GCPExperience with KubernetesExperience with Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus
