Position: Cloud Architect - 158636Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - 2 days onsite/week from Day 1)Interview Process: In-person interviewsSubmission Deadline: 5/20/26 at 10:00 AM ESTTop Skills Required:• 5-6+ years of hands-on AWS experience with Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience including EKS, Helm, kubectl, ingress controllers (ALB/NGINX), HPA, and troubleshooting• Strong Docker experience including multi-stage builds, image hardening, and ECR• Experience with ArgoCD or Flux for GitOps deployments in production environments• Strong Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) experience with CI/CD automation• Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK• Experience with RDS (SQL Server/PostgreSQL), Linux administration, and shell scripting• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPosition Overview:Seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation for a large-scale enterprise cloud migration program involving 30+ applications. The role requires hands-on expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, GitOps, DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native deployment strategies.Key Responsibilities:• Configure and manage AWS environments including Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, EC2, and RDS• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux)• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and deployment automation strategies• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DBA teams for cloud migration activities• Troubleshoot cloud, container, networking, and deployment-related issues• Create runbooks, architecture documentation, and operational proceduresRequired Qualifications:• Strong AWS architecture and cloud migration experience• Production Kubernetes/EKS expertise• Hands-on GitOps experience using ArgoCD or Flux• Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD automation experience• Docker, Terraform, Linux, Git, and scripting expertise• Experience working with SQL Server/PostgreSQL environments• Strong documentation and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer certifications• CKA/CKAD certification• Experience migrating .NET or Java applications to AWS• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, Vault, DataDog, Splunk, or New Relic• Experience with blue/green and canary deployments
