KUNZ has been delivering complex engineering programs since 2015. With 40+ engineers across San Francisco and Golden, CO, we work on some of the most consequential infrastructure projects in the building industry - hyperscale datacenters, quantum computing, and configurable infrastructure. We're growing fast and we seek an HR & Talent Manager who can grow with us. This role is the connective tissue between our people, our expertise, and our culture.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & RecruitingOwn the end-to-end hiring process for engineering and operational roles - from job posting and sourcing through offer and close.Proactively build talent pipelines for high-demand technical roles, partnering with leadership to anticipate needs based on project pipelines.Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates, manage job postings, and run targeted outreach for open roles across both offices.Manage and maintain our company LinkedIn page - share team milestones, promotion announcements, project highlights, and culture content to build our employer brand.People & CultureManage the operational and cultural onboarding of new hires across both offices - hardware, systems access, and day-one experience.Support managers through performance cycles, feedback processes, and employee development conversations.Plan and coordinate team-building activities and engagement initiatives that strengthen collaboration and connection across both offices.Be the trusted point of contact for team members - handling concerns, fostering engagement, and keeping the culture strong as we scale.Multi-state HR & CompliancePartner with our payroll and benefits provider TRINET along with legal to ensure multi-state compliance across California and Colorado.Support benefits programs administered by TRINET and drive increased awareness and use of resources by employees.HR SystemsMaintain and optimize our HRIS, ATS, and related platforms.Identify bottlenecks in HR workflows and implement scalable solutions as the team evolves and grows.Qualifications3-5 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or recruiting, preferably within an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or professional services consultancy.Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, employee onboarding, and HR operations.Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS/ATS platforms, and collaboration tools.
