It is a foundational leadership position with direct impact on how the business operates and grows.The Controller serves as a key partner to leadership and is responsible for owning the financial function while supporting operational alignment across the business.This role oversees accounting processes, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis while also supporting related functions such as HR oversight and operational coordination.This position requires both:Technical excellence in accounting and financeThe ability to translate data into meaningful business insightResponsibilities include:Mentor and develop existing team members, elevating performance, building capability, and supporting long-term growthOwn monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timelinessLead the company-wide budgeting process in partnership with department leadersMonitor cash flow and provide proactive visibility into financial position and planning needsDeliver both standard and ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-makingTranslate financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendationsSupport HR-related financial decisions, including compensation, training investments, and resource planningReview and validate financial data, dashboards, and reporting systems for accuracy and completenessIdentify and implement process improvements across finance and operations to increase efficiency and consistencyQualifications:5-7+ years of experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership roleProven experience owning full-cycle accounting processes (monthly close, reporting, etc.)Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningDemonstrated ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendationsExperience working cross-functionally with leadership and non-finance teamsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to build and maintain structured, repeatable financial processesClear and confident communication skills, both written and verbalHigh level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial informationAbility to operate independently with minimal oversight
