Patient Care Coordinator Northgate, Seattle, Washington Position SummaryThe Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Primary Care, Specialist and Walk in Clinic teams and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role is responsible for managing front office operations, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. On a very busy day usually a Tuesday we can check in up to 600 patients due to having so many providers working that day.The Patient Care Coordinator must have experience with EPIC.ResponsibilitiesFront desk responsibilities.Manage patient check in and check out processes, including verifying insurance, collecting co pays, and obtaining required documentationGreet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanorWorking with our back office medical assistants for managing schedulesConduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits and follow upsSchedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate recordsMeet outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targetsServe as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concernsEnsure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulationsCoordinate with clinical teams to support patient flow and operational efficiencyMaintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systemsSupport training and onboarding of new patient service staffGenerate reports and assist with operational improvement projectsTeam & Culture:Collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on teamwork, efficiency, and delivering high-quality care.Pay: 22-25$ an hourShift Times:Shifts will vary. 6:45a- 3:15p, 7:30a-4pm, 8:30a-5pm Monday thru Friday.Benefits: 401(k) Retirement Plan, multiple medical, dental and vision plan options, Short Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance Plan, Weekly Pay, Paid Sick Time Offered in WA (1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked)
