Information Technology Project Manager

Akkodis is hiring an IT Project Manager to support our client in the Insurance industry! This role requires a strong technical foundation across systems, networking, cloud, and data center environments, combined with the ability to manage projects from planning through execution.Pay: $50-55/hr (W2)Location: onsite in Sacramento, CAEmployment type: 6 month contract-to-hireKey ResponsibilitiesLead and execute IT infrastructure projects in an Agile / Hybrid delivery environmentDefine and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teamsDrive projects forward by resolving conflicts and removing roadblocksPartner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectivesCommunicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to leadership and cross-functional teamsCollaborate with engineers, architects, and business application teams to align technical solutions with business needsIdentify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and issuesTrack progress using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and provide regular reportingCoordinate vendors, procurement, and licensing for infrastructure-related initiativesFacilitate change control, configuration management, and project documentationConduct post-project reviews, including lessons learned and process improvementsQualifications5+ years of project management experience, preferably within enterprise IT infrastructure environmentsProven success delivering projects in fast-paced, complex environmentsStrong technical understanding of: Systems, Networking, Cloud platforms, DevOps, DatabasesExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsExperience with tools such as: Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira / Confluence, MS Project, ServiceNow or Halo ITSMCertificationsAt least one required certification in:PMI (PMP or equivalent)ITILAgile / ScrumAdditional certifications are a plusEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
