About the RoleThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. This role involves managing logistics, orders, vendor relationships, forecasting, and inventory management - while ensuring smooth communication with international vendors. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to support both retail and wholesale operations. What You'll DoSales Order ManagementAccurately enter, process, and manage sales orders in NetSuite to support operational workflows. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and factories, ensuring clear and timely communication. Shipping OperationsPrepare and manage shipping documents such as Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists, ensuring compliance with retailer-specific requirements, particularly Costco. Generate and analyze item shipping reports to track performance and ensure on-time deliveries. Validate factory product specifications and generate optimized container loads in loading software to meet customer requirements. Purchase Order ManagementOversee the entire purchase order lifecycle, including creation, changes, tracking, and fulfillment, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Logistics and Sample ManagementCoordinate international and domestic freight operations, including ocean freight and third-party logistics (3PL) management. Optimize shipping and distribution processes to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery. Manage sample shipments and find cost effective methods to move air freight with UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Data Analysis, Forecasting & Inventory ManagementPerform detailed analyses of retail and wholesale operations to identify trends, improve decision-making, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Use Demand Planning tools, historical sales data and current trends to develop accurate forecasts and maintain inventory levels that support sales while minimizing out of stocks and excess inventory. Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with sales forecasts and business needs. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve supply chain and operational efficiency. Compliance and ReportingEnsure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational metrics, supply chain performance, and vendor management to senior leadership. Team Leadership and CollaborationMentor and guide team members to ensure high performance and professional growth. Collaborate across departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in supply chain management or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP software. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, factories, and team members. Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Work flexible hours, including SOME evenings/nights, to accommodate international suppliers. Experience working with Big Box Retailers in a global landscape. Preferred Qualifications Experience in home goods, consumer products, or licensed brand environments. NetStock Demand Planning software experience. TOPS/Maxload containerization software experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Benefits401(k) with company match. Company-paid health insurance.
