Description of the Company:CBNA (Civil & Building North America) and Bouygues Construction Canada (BCC), both subsidiaries of Bouygues Travaux Publics, carry out major heavy civil projects in the US and Canada. We have been operating in North America since 2002, delivering large-scale projects such as the groundbreaking Port Miami Tunnel. We currently have operations in Rhodes Island, Washington DC, Montana and British Columbia, Canada. Our BYCN expertise extends throughout underground works, river and maritime works, linear projects, signature bridges, industrial civil engineering.Job Summary:As HR Advisor North America, you will serve as a key HR partner and the primary point of contact for HR operations across a diverse workforce in North America, with a strong focus on supporting the Fraser River Tunnel Project in Vancouver, BC, Canada.Key Responsibilities:HR Operations - Fraser River Tunnel Project, VIE, Bridges & InternsAct as the primary HR partner for the Fraser River Tunnel Project team in Vancouver, as well as for VIEs, Bridges, and Interns across Canada and the USA.Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and offboarding.Lead and coordinate key HR annual processes, including salary reviews, talent reviews, and annual people review discussions.Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, team effectiveness, performance management, mobility matters, and disciplinary actions.Ensure adherence to company policies, internal procedures, and compliance requirements across all employee groups in scope.International MobilityServe as the main HR contact for international mobility in North America.Manage the full mobility process, including recruitment support, immigration coordination, relocation, onboarding, and ongoing administrative follow-up for international assignees and new arrivals.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and employee-focused mobility processes.HR DevelopmentSupport HR development initiatives in coordination with the relevant HR team members.Contribute to training and development planning as needed, while ensuring alignment with business priorities.Represent the organization at selected career fairs and university engagement events when required.Support the deployment of regional HR development initiatives, including WeLink North America.Project ManagementSupport and/or lead the implementation of key HR projects across North America, including the Global HR implementation.Contribute to upcoming HR transformation initiativesDrive continuous improvement in HR processes, tools, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and employee experience.Payroll & AdministrationProvide support to the Senior HR Technician for Canada payroll processing and broader North America HR administrative activities.Help ensure payroll practices remain compliant with Canadian employment legislation and regulatory requirements.Support the creation, review, and update of HR policies and procedures for CBNA & BCC.Qualifications:Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an international environmentAbility to act as a trusted HR business partner to employees, managers and stakeholders.Knowledge of HR practices, employment standards, and compliance requirements, ideally in Canada and/or North AmericaFluency in English is required. French is a plus.
