Our Mission: Empower AOR's, EOR's and Production teams to do their best work, as a team, at a fraction of the time and cost for our customers.About the RoleWe're looking for a Director of Architecture that will have full ownership over "Inflection", the architecture arm at oWOW. The Director is accountable for the performance, scalability, and profitability of the business. This role owns full P&L, delivery outcomes, platform adoption, team performance, and revenue growth while ensuring architectural services enable faster, lower-cost, and more predictable housing delivery.ResponsibilitiesManage internal design team and coordinate with oWOW's Development, Construction, and R&D teams to align design intent with cost, schedule, and constructability goals.Own the Design Division's P&L, delivering architectural services within approved budgets and schedules while meeting margin and cash flow targetsScale Inflection to support 15-20+ projects per year without proportional headcount growth.Build and lead high-performing teams of Project Architects and the Production Platform team with clear accountability, training plans, and promotion paths.Drive growth of the architectural business by supporting internal work, creating new revenue streams, and selling to 3rd parties.Champion innovation in mass timber, modular systems, and sustainable urban housing design.Oversee design quality, code compliance, and building performance standards.Support project feasibility and early-stage design analysis for new project developments.QualificationsLicensed Architect (California preferred) with 10+ years of experience, including project leadership on multifamily or mixed-use housing projects.Strong understanding of Type I, Type IV, and Type V construction, building codes, and entitlement processes.Experience managing in-house architecture teams and external consultants.Proficiency with Revit/BIM and collaborative design workflows.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, design-build environment.Why Join oWOWYou'll be part of a creative, mission-driven team reimagining how cities build and live.
