NOTE: Candidates must be based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.We are seeking a Data Analyst to support Zelig, an AI-powered virtual try-on and styling platform redefining how consumers shop. This role is focused on interpreting complex data, including outputs from data models, to understand how system decisions impact business outcomes and to optimize lead-flow and decisioning processes.This is a highly analytical, business-focused role. While dashboards and visualizations are important, the primary responsibility is data interpretation, decision analysis, and optimization, rather than heavy engineering work.Zelig is a high-growth company building best-in-class technology, and we are looking for someone who is quick on their feet, naturally curious, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Business ImpactInterpret complex datasets to understand how system decisions impact business outcomesTie Zelig recommendations to measurable KPIs such as conversion, funnel progression, and efficiencyIdentify opportunities to optimize lead flow logic and decision rules to improve performanceTranslate analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendationsData Exploration & AnalysisExtract and analyze data from reports and datasets using Excel or Google SheetsDevelop a deep understanding of data sources, reporting tools, and inherent limitationsValidate assumptions and investigate anomalies across systems and outputsManage and synthesize multiple datasets across partners, building both internal and client-facing insightsProduct & Stakeholder CollaborationPartner closely with Product to define requirements, success metrics, and experimentation frameworksCollaborate on Proofs of Concept (POCs), including stitching and combining data across multiple sourcesHelp document metrics, business logic, and data definitions to ensure consistency and alignmentEnablement & CommunicationCommunicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTailor storytelling based on audience (executive vs. operational)Support UX and design partners by providing data context for dashboards and reporting experiencesTeam EnvironmentWork cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and external data partners (including Puller)Collaborate with UX designers to shape intuitive and impactful data visualizationsContribute as a strong team player in a fast-moving, high-growth environmentMust-Have QualificationsStrong working knowledge of SQL.
