Business Analyst - Process & Visual Design

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst - Process & Visual Design for a 12 Month Contract (Extendable) role with a client located in San Diego, CA (Onsite).Pay Range: $38 - 41.50/hour (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)POSITION PURPOSE ObjectiveProvide execution-focused support to engineering and quality initiatives by translating complex processes into clear, visual, and actionable outputs, while supporting Lean/ISO-aligned work and maintaining strong project coordination discipline.Scope of WorkThe contractor will support cross-functional initiatives with a focus on documentation, visualization, and project execution tasks:Process & Visual DesignDevelop process maps, flowcharts, and work instructions using VisioCreate infographics, visual standards, and training materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop or equivalent)Translate engineering and quality requirements into digestible, visual formats for diverse audiences (shop floor to leadership)Engineering & Quality SupportPartner with engineering and quality teams to support Lean, ISO (e.g., ISO 9001/17025), and process improvement initiativesAssist with documenting standard work, control measures, and process updatesSupport audit readiness documentation and content organizationProject Execution & CoordinationCapture meeting notes, decisions, and actions clearly and consistentlyTrack tasks and timelines using Microsoft Planner and/or ProjectMaintain structured documentation and version controlFollow through on deliverables with minimal oversightDeliverablesProcess maps, SOPs, and visual documentationTraining visuals and communication materialsOrganized project trackers and action logsMeeting notes with clear ownership and follow-upsAudit/Lean documentation support artifactsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (or closely related technical field)Hands-on experience with:Microsoft Visio (process mapping)Adobe Creative Suite (visual design)Microsoft Planner and/or Microsoft ProjectExperience supporting Lean initiatives and/or ISO standardsStrong ability to take direction and execute high-volume, detail-oriented workPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsExposure to quality systems, audits, or continuous improvement programsCertification (nice to have): Lean, Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt), or ISO familiarityIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
