As an energy-saving solutions provider with core competencies in power electronics and automation, Delta's business categories include Power Electronics, Mobility, Automation, and Infrastructure.About the role: The purpose of this position is to repair defective material returned from customers.Key responsibilitiesUnder moderate supervision, performs the following:Monitors active repair and/or upgrade work lists and perform repairs in order of assignment. Troubleshoot, repair of Delta products. Adjusts, repairs and/replaces defective components, using hand tools and technical documentations.Visually inspects and tests returned products using test equipment and applying knowledge of functional operation of electronic unit and system to diagnose malfunction. Enters information on all completed repair/upgrade work into ERP.Perform all other duties as directed.Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree in Electronics or related discipline or equivalent required. EE or EET is a plus.One to three years of previous product repair of electronics or telecom power products required. Previous soldering and use of test equipment to troubleshoot product issues required.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics. Perform component level repairs using IPC610 standards for SMT and Through Hole technologies (IPC610 Certification or equivalent experience preferred). Proficient using diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, etc. Demonstrated proficiency with computer software to include MS Office (Word and Excel), e-mail and ERP.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.Effective time management and organizational skills required.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required. Demonstrated ability to identify, research and resolve issues.This position requires long periods of sitting behind a workbench, using tools and test equipment and performing tasks on a computer. Good vision. Additional physical requirements include standing, bending, hand dexterity, seeing, ability to distinguish colors, lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
