Senior RF Design Engineer - Automotive Tier 1 SupplierJob Location: Novi, Michigan (Hybrid/Flexible Schedule)A global Tier 1 automotive supplier specializing in advanced vehicle connectivity, antenna systems, and RF technologies is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to join its RF Engineering Team.This organization works directly with leading automotive OEMs to develop next-generation vehicle communication systems supporting connected, autonomous, and smart mobility technologies.Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop advanced automotive RF and antenna systems for future vehicle applications• Support product development activities including AM/FM, GNSS/GPS, Cellular, SDARS, V2X, and keyless entry systems• Perform RF simulations, prototype development, testing, and validation activities• Design RF circuits, amplifiers, PCB layouts, and antenna systems• Conduct RF bench, range, and vehicle-level testing• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional engineering teams• Lead technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives• Support APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, BOM management, and engineering release activities• Mentor junior RF engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the teamQualifications:• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field• 5-10 years of automotive RF/antenna engineering experience• Strong experience with RF simulation and antenna development tools such as CST, HFSS, or similar• Background in RF circuit design, PCB layout, and amplifier development• Experience developing and testing automotive antenna systems• Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, and automotive product development processes• Strong communication and customer-facing technical leadership skills
